Baseball has always been in my blood. My father played semi-professional baseball in New Jersey before any independent teams were created. I am mainly a right-handed pitcher, but I can also play third base and second base. Being from New Jersey, arguably where the best baseball players come from (Mike Trout, Derek Jeter; to name a few...), it has always been a competitive atmosphere to succeed at the sport. Lucky for me, some of the best coaches are available close to where I am from, in Central New Jersey. I worked with a former first round draft pick out of high school and AAA hitter for the Cleveland Indians and Los Angeles Dodgers, and a former AA pitcher for the Minnesota Twins, to work on my abilities. I still work with both of them, but it has been an honor to have that opportunity to learn things that most players learn as they move past college baseball. Baseball is something that I have a passion for and that is why a blog about baseball was a necessity.

I plan to talk about several topics in this blog. Obviously, it needs to be known what is "poppin'" in the MLB currently, but it is also important to note some of the players that get overlooked for whatever reason. Currently, the MLB has some of the best players ever seen in its history. That is all thanks to science and technology that has advanced the game of baseball to what it is today. The MLB tracks ever possible statistic and video tapes every moment for teams and analysts to review. It has hit a point in world history where technology has advanced past video cameras and now the MLB can calculate most statistics as it happens. For example, launch angle and exit velocity are statistics that have reached all the way to coaches everywhere to share with the kids they coach or train. It will soon become a part of learning hitting. Players like Aaron Judge show that with bat speed and launch angle, hitting home runs is almost easy. I plan to talk about everything going on in baseball and what the future holds for the greatest game ever created.
